A reportage entitled the world according to Roman Gąska was published in the quarterly magazine No. 13/2015.

“Three years have passed since the first visit. It was a frosty morning. A small house on the edge of the village, situated by ponds. He came out to me to greet me with a big step, smiling warmly.
I did not know then that this meeting would be the beginning of another, which we continue to this day. I met Roman Gąska – a self-made and talented artist, sculptor, painter, poet and farmer. He lives very modestly, in the village of Szczuczki, in symbiosis with animals and nature. The daily chores on the farm do not spoil him, and he has little time for a happy life, his creative life. For him, creative work is a joy, a proof of usefulness to others, an expression of sensitivity and a result of observing nature. Roman Gąska says that his works grow old with him and that he is reconciled to this fact. His optimism, admiration for the world and the process of creation are combined with everyday struggles and hardships of life, with ordinary human matters. I go to meetings with Roman with joy. We always sit down over tea and talk for a long time. I accompany him in his daily activities, without disturbing his schedule. Sometimes I do not take out my camera. Most often, however, there is something to photograph, to catch in time interesting situations and events that will not be repeated. The consequence of our meetings was friendship and an agreement to impregnate [against time and passing] a fragment of the artist’s extraordinary personality and his work. Jakub Szymański”.
